NTA has announced the exam and shift dates of JEE Main 2019 for January attempt on October 5. This facility is available only to those students who have applied for JEE Main. Candidates who have applied for JEE Main 2019 January examination can visit the official website of NTA to check the necessary details. There was no slot booking facility in the application form as the examination authority NTA has decided to allow the examination center, date of exam and shift to JEE Main 2019 aspirants. This allotment is to be done purely on a random basis. The exact city of the examination will be announced by NTA on October 21.
The examination authority NTA will release JEE Main admit cards on their official website itself on December 17, 2018. All the necessary details such as JEE Main exam center, date of exam, shift and venue will be mentioned on JEE Main 2019 admit card. Candidates must ensure that the details mentioned on their application must match with the information available on the admit cards. In case, there is a mismatch, you are required to contact the admission authority to rectify the mistake as soon as possible.

1. Visit the official website of JEE Main
2. Log in using your registration number, password, and other details
3. After logging in, your exam dates and shift allotted to you will be displayed on the screen
4. Save the details displayed on the screen and take a print out of the same and keep it safe for future references.
As the exam is scheduled to be conducted only on weekends, JEE Main 2019 will be conducted on January 6, 12, 13, 19 and 20. Paper 1 of JEE Main will be held in two shifts; the first shift from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm whereas the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Paper 2 of JEE Main will be held only in a single shift.
The last date to apply for JEE Main 2019 has been over. So, if you have made mistakes while filling the JEE Main application form, just relax as NTA will open the correction window for students from October 8 onwards.
